Anger is Not a Problem

 

It's what we do with it that is.

 

Right now in the world we are seeing a whole lot of anger and division within people, families and communities. 

We also have a rise in depression, anxiety and physical pain.

How we react to the emotion of anger can often be at the root of these issues. It can help or hinder our health and our life and is largely misunderstood. 

Do you find yourself saying...

I shouldn't be angry (but I am),

or feeling highly irritable and easily triggered, 

or angry all the time,

or exploding and then feeling guilty or ashamed,

perhaps knowing there is anger simmering inside you and it leaks out in tears, snarky remarks, or physical pain and tension?

I am Madeleine Eames, therapist and embodied yoga teacher. I have helped many people heal from trauma, anxiety and chronic pain. I have also noticed that many of us have a skewed relationship to the emotion of anger and this shows up externally and internally.
